RESOLUTION NO. 6113
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
ADOPTING A ROADWAY MAJOR MAINTENANCE FINANCING POLICY
WHEREAS, on February 10, 2003, Staff submitted a report
outlining development of an assessment policy as an issue that will need to be
addressed as part of the feasibility report for the 2003 Street Improvement
Project; and
WHEREAS, the proposed policy will utilize the unit assessment
method for low-density residential property (single family and twin homes /
duplexes) and the front footage method for all other properties for roadway major
maintenance projects; and
WHEREAS, the proposed policy is contingent on revising the City
Ordinance to allow for the unit assessment method to be applied to roadway
major maintenance projects.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City
Council does hereby approve the attached roadway major maintenance financing
policy.
