RESOLUTION NO. 6137
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
COUNTY ROAD H2 STREET PROJECT - CHANGE ORDER NO.4
AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION
OF PIPE RAILING ALONG THE NORTH SIDE OF THE PATHWAY
WHEREAS, unforeseen circumstances arise for time to time that
will necessitate changes in the original construction plan; and
WHEREAS, the construction of a steep slope adjacent to the
pathway was required to stay within the City-owned right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, to protect the trail users, it is recommended that sixty
feet (60') of pedestrian safety pipe railing be installed; and
WHEREAS, said railing was not included in the original bid; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of this item is $7,369.20 and the
funds to finance it will be derived from the City's Municipal State Aid Account.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. That Change Order No.4 for the County Road H2 Street Improvement
Project is hereby approved.
2. That said Change Order is for construction and installation of a pipe
railing along the north side of the pathway.
3. That the funds to finance Change Order No.4 will be derived from the
City's Special Project Fund.
Adopted this 24th day of November 2003.
