RESOLUTION NO. 8307 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> A Resolution Approving the Hire of Brian Beeman to the Position of <br /> Business Development Coordinator in the Community Development Department <br /> WHEREAS, upon direction from the Mounds View City Council, the Business <br /> Development Coordinator position was advertised; and <br /> WHEREAS, over ten (10) applications were received for the position and six (6) <br /> were chosen for interview; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Beeman's skills and experience were determined to most closely <br /> match the duties and responsibilities as outlined in the job description; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Beeman would start at Step 4 of the Pay Scale at$30.91/hour;with <br /> an increase to Step 5 of the salary range (currently $32.54/hour) after one year of <br /> employment; and <br /> WHEREAS, all step wage increases are subject to a satisfactory performance <br /> evaluations; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Beeman would begin employment on or about September 29, <br /> 2014, contingent on satisfactory reference, criminal background and driver license checks. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br /> appoints Brian Beeman to the position of Business Development Coordinator in the <br /> Community Development Department with employment to commence on or about <br /> September 29, 2014. <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby approve the hire of <br /> Brian Beeman to the part-time, non-union position of Business Development Coordinator at <br /> Step 4 of the pay scale (currently $30.91/hour), contingent on satisfactory reference, <br /> criminal background and driver license checks. <br /> Adopted this 22nd day of September, 2014. <br /> Joe Flaherty, <br /> ATTEST: Jci,otuuN <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (SEAL) <br />
