CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
A Resolution Approving the Hire of Brian Beeman to the Position of
Business Development Coordinator in the Community Development Department
WHEREAS, upon direction from the Mounds View City Council, the Business
Development Coordinator position was advertised; and
WHEREAS, over ten (10) applications were received for the position and six (6)
were chosen for interview; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Beeman's skills and experience were determined to most closely
match the duties and responsibilities as outlined in the job description; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Beeman would start at Step 4 of the Pay Scale at$30.91/hour;with
an increase to Step 5 of the salary range (currently $32.54/hour) after one year of
employment; and
WHEREAS, all step wage increases are subject to a satisfactory performance
evaluations; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Beeman would begin employment on or about September 29,
2014, contingent on satisfactory reference, criminal background and driver license checks.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
appoints Brian Beeman to the position of Business Development Coordinator in the
Community Development Department with employment to commence on or about
September 29, 2014.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby approve the hire of
Brian Beeman to the part-time, non-union position of Business Development Coordinator at
Step 4 of the pay scale (currently $30.91/hour), contingent on satisfactory reference,
criminal background and driver license checks.
