CITY OF MOUDSN VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING ROOM POLICIES FOR THE GYMNASIUM AND OTHER AREAS
OF THE MOUNDS VIEW COMMUNITY CENTER MANAGED BY THE YMCA
WHEREAS, the YMCA has been managing the gymnasium and other
areas of the Mounds View Community Center since 1999; and
WHEREAS, the YMCA has the responsibility to schedule various resident
and non-resident groups that wish to utilize the facility; and
WHEREAS, the current Rental Agreement does not list many types of
organizations, is inconsistent, and does not adequately address fees and facility
usage; and
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has obtained fee and usage
information from other area community centers; and
. WHERAS, the proposed room policies, classification system, and rental
fees were discussed at the City Council's work session on January 5, 2004 and
the recommended changes have been incorporated.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT he Mounds View City
Council does hereby approve the Facility Permit form and the Room Policies for
the Gymnasium & Other Areas of the Mounds View Community Center managed
by the YMCA.
