RESOLUTION NO. 6178
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZING THE DEVELOPMENT OF A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
(RFP) FOR WORK ASSOCIATED WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE
COUNTY ROAD 10 REDEVELOPMENT AND REVITALIZATION PLAN
WHEREAS, on August 26, 2002, the City Council approved resolution no.
5824 adopting the County Road 10 Redevelopment Project Plans are prepared
by URS; and
WHEREAS, the overall corridor plan for County Road 10 has been
developed, but the details on how to implement it have yet to be determined; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recently named developing this project as a
strategic goal on the City Council Priority List for 2004; and
WHEREAS, given the complexities of such a plan and the expertise
needed in developing the implementation plan, Staff is recommending that the
City send out a request for proposal (RFP) to solicit help in developing it.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City
Council does hereby authorize and direct Staff to develop a request for proposal
(RFP) for work associated with the implementation of the County Road 10
Redevelopment and Revitalization Plan.
Adopted this 10th day of May, 2004.
