RESOLUTION NO. 6190
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOL TUION AUTHORIZING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF THE POSITIONS OF
PUBLIC WORKS FOREMAN AND PARKS FOREMAN
WHEREAS, the City has recently updated the position descriptions of the
positions of Public Works Foreman and Parks Foreman; and
WHEREAS, the Personnel Policy provides for a periodic review and update of
positions based upon market survey data for similar sized cities; and
WHEREAS, the incumbents in the positions of Public Works Foreman and Parks
Foreman have received satisfactory performance reviews while performing these
additional duties; and
WHEREAS, the new position shall be reclassified to be titled Public Works
Supervisor and Parks Supervisor respectfully; and
WHEREAS, the salary range and steps for the new position shall be:
STEP 1 STEP 2 STEP 3 STEP 4 STEP 5
Public Works $44,079 $46,834 $49,589 $52,344 $55,099
Supervisor
Parks $41,875 $44,492 $47,110 $49,727 $52,344
Supervisor
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Mounds View hereby approve of the reclassification of the Public Works Foreman and
Parks Foreman to Public Works Supervisor and park Supervisor respectfully; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the incumbents in each position (Public
Works - Tim Pittman and Parks - Steve Dazenski) shall be placed at the Step 5 of the
salary range of the newly reclassified positions.
