RESOLUTION NO. 6205
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPOINTING BENJAMIN ZENDER TO THE
POSITION OF POLICE OFFICER
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the hiring of three Police Officers,
and the Police Civil Service Commission has approved the procedures for establishing
an eligibility register to fill these vacancies, and;
WHEREAS, the approved hiring procedures consist of a competitive written
examination, resume scoring, oral interviews, background investigations, physical
examination, psychological examination, and physical agility testing, and;
WHEREAS, the Civil Service Commission has certified the eligibility list for the
openings, and Benjamin Zender is one of the three top candidates standing on the
eligibility register, and his background investigation, physical, psychological, and
physical agility testing have all been successfully completed, and:
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has met with Mr. Zender, and the Chief
recommends he be appointed to the position of Police Officer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
does hereby appoint Benjamin Zender to the position of Police Officer at the step one
rate of pay as stipulated in the Law Enforcement Labor Services contract.
