<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6207 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPOINTING TIMOTHY WOLF AND KEITH DEMAREST TO THE <br />POSITIONS OF POLICE OFFICER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the hiring of two additional Police <br />Officers, and the Police Civil Service Commission has approved the procedures for <br />establishing an eligibility register to fill these vacancies, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the approved hiring procedures consist of a competitive written <br />examination, resume scoring, oral interviews, background investigations, physical <br />examination, psychological examination, and physical agility testing, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current Civil Service Commission eligibility list is as follows: #1 <br />Timothy Wolf, #2 Keith Demarest, #3 Matthew Carlson, and #4 Spencer Scofield, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has met with the #1 candidate, Mr. Wolf, and the <br />#2 candidate, Mr. Demarest. The Police Chief recommends both Mr. Wolf and Mr. <br />Demarest be appointed to the position of Police Officer, pending their successful <br />completion of a psychological evaluation, medical evaluation, background investigation <br />and physical agility testing, and; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby appoint Timothy Wolf (effective 4-12-04), and Keith Demarest (effective 4- <br />26-04) to the positions of Police Officer at the step one rate of pay as stipulated in the <br />Law Enforcement Labor Services contract.
