<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6215 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />County of Ramsey <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />APPROVING TRANSFERS BETWEEN FUNDS FOR THE YEAR 2003 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City adopted budgets for various funds for 2003 that included <br />inter-fund transfers for various purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council previously approved Resolution 6151 providing for a <br />transfer from the General Fund to the Special Projects Fund of $43,745 related to the <br />acquisition of the Police records management system; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, for a transferfrom the General Fund to the Special Projects Fund of <br />$800,000 will provide funding for high priority capital projects in the future; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Center operated at a loss during 2003 and so needs <br />a larger transfer than what was originally budgeted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is a need to build a reserve account within the Community <br />Center for future major repairs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is a need to build the reserve account within the Vehicle and <br />Equipment Fund to the level determined by the fleet analysis; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Sewer Utility Fund didn't purchase a skid-steer loader as <br />budgeted and so spent nothing on vehicles; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Economic Development Authority received state grants during <br />2002 in reimbursement of moneys spent in 2001 on the Edgewood Regional Pond and <br />so doesn't need transfers from the Tax Increment Financing Districts in 2003; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the T.I.F. District #1 received higher tax payments than anticipated <br />and is obligated to transfer them to the Bonds of 2001A debt service fund. <br />
