RESOLUTION NO. 8341 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPROVING A REVISED JOB DESCRIPTION AND AUTHORIZATION TO <br /> ADVERTISE FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR POSITION <br /> WHEREAS, Public Works Director Nick DeBar has resigned from his position <br /> effective December 19, 2014; and <br /> WHEREAS, when job vacancies occur, it is desirable to review job descriptions to <br /> ensure the requirements accurately reflect the expectations of the City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, at the December 1, 2014, Work Session, the City Council reviewed the <br /> Public Works Director job description and suggested minor revisions; and <br /> WHEREAS, at the December 1, 2014, Work Session, it was the consensus of the <br /> City Council to start the process to advertise and hire a replacement Public Works Director. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View, Ramsey County, Minnesota to approve the revised job description and advertise for <br /> the upcoming vacancy for the Public Works Director. <br /> Adopted this 8th day of December, 2014. <br /> e Flahe y, ' - '• ' <br /> ATTEST: <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
