RESOLUTION 6248
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
ADOPTING THE CITY VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT
WHEREAS, in March of 2004, the City Council and Department Heads held a
"Leadership - Planning - Team Building" retreat; and
WHEREAS, the City Council and Department Heads discussed the past,
present, and future and responded with a plan to address the challenges facing the City
of Mounds View; and
WHEREAS, The City Council and Department Heads developed a shared vision
for success by agreeing on a formal vision and mission statement, which reads:
Mounds View Vision Statement
We see Mounds View as a proactive community that takes pride in its
achievements. We are responsive to the changing needs and interests of
our residents and businesses. As a result, our community thrives and
prospers.
Mounds View Mission Statement
Our Mission is to provide high quality public services that effectively
address changing citizen and community needs in a fiscally responsible
and customer-friendly manner.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council
hereby adopt the City of Mounds View Vision and Mission Statement.
Adopted this 24th day of May, 2004.
