RESOLUTION 6255
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
ADOPTING THE MOUNDS VIEW GOALS PROGRAM
WHEREAS, in March of 2004, the City Council and Department Heads held a
"Leadership - Planning - Team Building" retreat; and
WHEREAS, the City Council and Department Heads discussed the past, present, and
future and responded with a plan to address the challenges facing the City of Mounds View; and
WHEREAS, The City Council and Department Heads developed a shared vision for
success by agreeing on a Mounds View Goals Program, which reads:
Mounds View Goals Program
Goal #1:
To Continue to Provide Quality Services with Limited Resources
Goal #2:
To Improve the City's Infrastructure
Goal #3:
To Develop a Long Term (Ten Year) Community Vision and Goals
Goal #4:
To Enhance the City's Revenue Streams
Goal #5:
To Improve the City's Housing Stock
Goal #6:
To Implement the Redevelopment and Revitalization Plan for County
Highway 10
Goal #7:
To Initiate a Study of Possible Improvements in How the City Delivers its
Services
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council hereby
adopt the City of Mounds View Goals Program.
Adopted this 24th day of May, 2004.
