RESOLUTION NO. 8353 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE PAYMENT TO <br /> PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR NICK DEBAR <br /> WHEREAS, Nick DeBar submitted his resignation and his last day of employment <br /> was December 19, 2014; and <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused sick leave time is 479.68 hours; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused vacation is 239.34 hours; and <br /> WHEREAS, Nick DeBar's current rate of pay is $49.17 per hour; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.45 of the Mounds View Personnel <br /> Manual, the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused sick time will be 479.68 hours x <br /> 50%x his hourly rate of$49.17 = $11,792.93 into Nick DeBar's Retirement Health Savings <br /> Plan (RHSP); and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel <br /> Manual, the maximum potential cash payout of accrued/unused vacation time will be <br /> 239.34 hours x his hourly rate of$49.17= $11,768.35. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br /> approves a one-time payout of sick time not to exceed $11,792.93 into Nick DeBar's RHSP <br /> in accordance with Section 3.45 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual. <br /> NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br /> approves a one-time cash payout of vacation time not to exceed $11,768.35 in <br /> accordance with Section 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual. <br /> Adopted this 5th day of January, 2015. <br /> '1 <br /> Ioe ahe`rty.,` Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> d6Lnrn-a0 <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
