CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE PAYMENT TO
PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR NICK DEBAR
WHEREAS, Nick DeBar submitted his resignation and his last day of employment
was December 19, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused sick leave time is 479.68 hours;
and
WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused vacation is 239.34 hours; and
WHEREAS, Nick DeBar's current rate of pay is $49.17 per hour; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.45 of the Mounds View Personnel
Manual, the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused sick time will be 479.68 hours x
50%x his hourly rate of$49.17 = $11,792.93 into Nick DeBar's Retirement Health Savings
Plan (RHSP); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel
Manual, the maximum potential cash payout of accrued/unused vacation time will be
239.34 hours x his hourly rate of$49.17= $11,768.35.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
approves a one-time payout of sick time not to exceed $11,792.93 into Nick DeBar's RHSP
in accordance with Section 3.45 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual.
NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
approves a one-time cash payout of vacation time not to exceed $11,768.35 in
accordance with Section 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual.
