RESOLUTION NO. 6302
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZE PREPARATION OF FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
THE TRUNK HIGHWAY 10 NOISE WALL I BERM PROJECT AND DIRECT
STAFF TO SUBMIT A LETTER TO MNIDOT REQUESTING THE
INSTALLATION OF A NOISE ABATEMENT WALL IN THE ARDEN PARK
AREA
WHEREAS, at the July, 5, 2004 Council Work Session, the City
Council gave Staff direction to proceed with the preparation of final plans and
specifications for the berm in Segment B (wetland berm area) and a noise
abatement wall in Segment C (the LaPort Neighborhood); and
WHEREAS, the City Council also gave Staff direction to proceed
with the submittal of a letter to Mn/DOT, requesting the installation of a noise
abatement wall in Segment A (the Arden Park Area).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. The preparation of the final construction plans and specifications for
Segment B (wetland berm area) and Segment C (the LaPort
Neighborhood) of the Trunk Highway 10 Noise Wall / Berm Project
is hereby authorized.
2. Staff is hereby directed to draft a letter and submit it to Mn/DOT
requesting the installation of a noise abatement wall in the Arden
Park area.
3. The Mayor and City Administrator shall execute said letter.
