RESOLUTION NO. 6304
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
COUNTY ROAD H SIDEWALK PROJECT - CHANGE ORDER NO.1
AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF CONCRETE CURB ALONG THE NORTH
SIDE OF COUNTY ROAD H
WHEREAS, unforeseen circumstances arise for time to time that will
necessitate changes in the original construction plan; and
WHEREAS, in addition to the curb not being in place in one section, and
being removed in another, there is a second boulevard issue, the sidewalk was set at
the highest elevation possible to avoid the installation of retaining wall; and
WHEREAS, Staff proposes to install a concrete 8-618 barrier curb along
the entire length of County Road H from Silver Lake Road to the west City limits; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of this item is $24,600.00 and the funds to
finance it will be derived from the City's Tax Increment Financing Fund (TIF); and
WHEREAS, the City Charter, Section 7.08 gives the City Council authority
to amend the budget by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. That Change Order No.1 for the County Road H Sidewalk Project is hereby
approved.
2. That said Change Order is for construction and installation of a concrete curb
along the north side of County Road H.
3. That the funds to finance Change Order No.1 will be derived from the City's
Tax Increment Financing Fund (TIF).
Adopted this 1 ih day of July 2004.
