RESOLUTION NO. 6311
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESETTING THE BID DATE FOR THE HIDDEN HOLLOW STREET AND
UTILITY INSTALLATION PROJECT AND THE MOUNDS VIEW
MANUFACTURED HOME COMMUNITY SECOND ACCESS PROJECT
WHEREAS, on June 28,2004, the City Council approved Resolution No.
6293, which approved the plans and specifications and set a bid date of July 29,
2004 for the Hidden Hollow Street and Utility Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, as of July 21,2004, clearing and grubbing of the site has
commenced; however no grading activities have started; and
WHEREAS, if the City awards a contract and the site is not completely
accessible to the contractor due to grading activities still being performed, the
City will be exposed to litigative action by the contractor; and
WHEREAS, Staff is recommending to revise the bid date from July 29,
2004, to August 19, 2004.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mounds View City Council
of the City of, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1.
That the bid date of July 29, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. to receive bids for
said improvements is hereby cancelled.
2.
A revised date to receive bids for said improvements is hereby
established as August 19, 2004, at 10:00 a.m.
3.
That Staff is hereby directed to cause to be issued a bid addendum
to revise the date to receive bids for said improvements.
