RESOLUTION NO. 6340
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ELIMINATION OF A PARCEL FROM TAX
INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 1 WITHIN THE MOUNDS VIEW
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROJECT, IN THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW.
WHEREAS, on November 14, 1986, the City of Mounds View created its Tax Increment
Financing (TIF) District No.1; and
WHEREAS, TIF District No. 1 included the parcel at 2625 Highway 10 NE, with PIN
number 06.30.23.44.0051 , which was previously certified in TIF District No.1; and
WHEREAS, the City desires by this resolution to cause the elimination of the parcel with
PIN number 06.30.23.44.0051 within TIF District NO.1 thereby reducing the size of TIF District
No.1; and
WHEREAS, since the current net tax capacity of the parcel to be eliminated from TIF
District No. 1 exceeds the net tax capacity of the parcels in TIF District No. 1's original net tax
capacity, the holding of a public hearing is not required pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section
469.175, Subdivision. 4:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View
that the parcel at 2625 Highway 10 NE, with PIN number 06.30.23.44.0051, is hereby eliminated
from TIF District No. 1 and the City's staff shall take such action as is necessary to notify the
County Auditor of the reduction in the geographic area of TIF District No. 1 caused by the
elimination of the parcel.
