RESOLUTION NO. 6341
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ELIMINATION OF PARCELS FROM TAX
INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 2 WITHIN THE MOUNDS VIEW
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROJECT, IN THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW.
WHEREAS, on June 29, 1988, the City of Mounds View created its Tax Increment
Financing (TIF) District No.2; and
WHEREAS, TIF District No.2 included parcels listed on Attachment A, which were
previously certified in TIF District No.2; and
WHEREAS, the City desires by this resolution to cause the elimination of the parcels
listed on Attachment A within TIF District NO.2 thereby reducing the size of TIF District No.2; and
WHEREAS, since the current net tax capacity of the parcels to be eliminated from TIF
District No. 2 exceeds the net tax capacity of the parcels in TIF District No. 2's original net tax
capacity, the holding of a public hearing is not required pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section
469.175, Subd. 4:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View
that the parcels listed on Attachment A are hereby eliminated from TIF District No.2 and the
City's staff shall take such action as is necessary to notify the County Auditor of the reduction in
the geographic area of TIF District NO.2 caused by the elimination of such parcels.
