RESOLUTION NO. 6358
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AWARDING THE RESTORATION CONTRACT FOR THE SILVER VIEW
SEDIMENTATION POND PROJECT
WHEREAS, on July 14, 2003, the City Council authorized the preparation
of a preliminary feasibility report for the Silver View Park Sedimentation Pond
Project; and
WHEREAS, on July 26,2003, the City Council approved Resolution No.
6314 approving the Draft Feasibility Report, Waiving the Public Improvement
Hearing, Ordering the Project, and Awarding the Excavation Contract for the
Silver View Sedimentation Pond Project; and
WHEREAS, financing for the Silver View Sedimentation Pond Project will
be derived entirely from the City of Mounds View Storm Water Utility Fund; and
WHEREAS, should the Council wish to proceed with this project, the next
step in the public improvement process is to restore the site and install a culvert
and skimmer; and
WHEREAS, a total of four (4) quotes were solicited for this project and
three responses were received; and
WHEREAS, the low quote was received from Final Grade Incorporated in
the amount of $15,559.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. That the quote received from Final Grade Incorporated in the
amount of $15,559.00 for the restoration portion of the Silver View
Sedimentation Pond Project is the lowest responsive quote.
2. That a contract to perform said work is awarded to Final Grade
Incorporated and that the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby
authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Final Grade
Incorporated.
