CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MOUNDS VIEW CITIZENSHIP AWARD POLICY
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Citizenship Award recognizes ordinary citizens
who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to improving their communities; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Citizenship Award recognizes a Mounds View
Resident who represents the energetic, courageous, persistent and informed involvement
of an ordinary citizen in the issues and challenges that affect the City.
WHEREAS, nominations are solicited from the public and are reviewed by the
City Councilor a selection committee appointed by the Council; and
WHEREAS, an individual will be selected from the nominations who meets the
criteria outlined in the policy; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does
hereby approve the Mounds View Citizenship Award Policy effective October 11, 2004.
Adopted this 11 th day of October, 2004.
