CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF AN
ALTERNATIVE URBAN AREAWIDE REVIEW (AUAR) FOR THE PROPOSED BRIDGES
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has directed staff to explore all potential
options relating to the Bridges of Mounds View Golf Course (the "Bridges"), including the
redevelopment of the course; and
WHEREAS, the City has become aware through CRESA Partners of Minneapolis of
significant interest in The Bridges for a potential corporate office campus redevelopment; and
WHEREAS, the AUAR is an informational document that will assist the City of Mounds
View in guiding business development of the Bridges site; and
WHEREAS, on September 13, 2004 the Mounds View Economic Development
Authority (EDA) directed the preparation of an AUAR for The Bridges Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, on September 13, 2004 the Mounds View EDA selected RLK-Kuusisto,
Ltd. of Minnetonka, MN to undertake the AUAR for the Bridges site; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Environmental Quality Board (EQB) requires that the City
Council adopt a resolution pertaining to the preparation of the AUAR.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mounds View City Council of the City
of Mounds View orders the preparation of an Alternative Urban Areawide Review (AUAR) for
the proposed Bridges Business Development Project.
Adopted this 2ih day of September 2004.
