<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6387 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING THE CONTRACT AWARD FOR THE YEARS 2005, 2006 and <br />2007 FOR RESIDENTIAL WATER SERVICE REPAIRS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City collects $4.00 on each quarterly utility bill from single <br />family properties, including duplexes, townhouses and condominiums; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City annually budgets and receives bids for residential <br />water service repairs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has between 7 and 10 water service repairs a year; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current Water Service Repair contract will expire <br />December 31, 2004; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Staff advertised for bids for a contract for 2005, 2006 and <br />2007; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid opening was October 28, 2004 at 10am and a total of <br />three (3) bids were opened and read aloud; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the low bidder was Grant Utilities in the yearly - per <br />residential water service repair or replacement amount of: <br /> <br />2005 $1,667.83/repair <br />2006 $1,755.39 /repair <br />2007 $1 ,870.98/repair; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City <br />Council does hereby approve a contract award to Grant Utilities for 2005, 2006, <br />and 2007, to repair individual residential water services as necessary in the City <br />of Mounds View. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />Ku <br /> <br />. <br />
