RESOLUTION NO. 6388
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE CONTRACT AWARD FOR UNIFORM SERVICE FOR THE
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, as per the Public Works Contract, the City is required to
provide uniforms for the collective bargaining unit; and
WHEREAS, the City annually budgets and receives bids for the uniforms;
and
WHEREAS, the current uniform contract has expired; and
WHEREAS, Staff solicited bids from uniform providers; and
WHEREAS, a total of three (3) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the low bidder was Aramark Uniforms in the amount of
$12,029.00/year with a yearly increase due to the consumer price index (CPI);
and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City
Council does hereby approve a contract award to Aramark Uniforms in the
amount of $12,029.00 with a yearly increase due to the consumer price index
(CPI), to provide uniforms to the Public Works Department.
Adopted this 8th day of November 2004.
