RESOLUTION NO 6389
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPOINTING JEREMY HELLPAP TO THE POSITION OF POLICE OFFICER
WHEREAS, the City Council had approved the firing of a Police Officer for
a current vacancy in the Police Department, and the Police Civil Service
Commission has approved the procedures for establishing an eligibility register to
fill this vacancy, and;
WHEREAS, the approved hiring procedure consist of a competitive written
examination, resume scoring, oral interviews, background investigations,
physical examination, psychological examination, and physical agility testing,
and;
WHEREAS, the Civil Service Commission has certified the eligibility list for
the opening, and Jeremy Hellpap is the top candidate standing on the eligibility
register, and his background investigation, physical, psychological, and physical
agility testing have all been successfully completed, and;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City
Council does hereby appoint Jeremy Hellpap to the position of Police Officer at
the step one rate of pay ($16. 59/hou r - 2003 rate) as stipu lated in the Law
Enforcement Labor Services contract effective November 22, 2004.
Adopted this 8th day of November, 2004.
