CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT TO ELEGANT THYMES
MANAGEMENT COMPANY FOR MANAGEMENT OF THE
MOUNDS VIEW BANQUET AND CONFERENCE CENTER
WHEREAS, on March 27, 2001 the City of Mounds View
suspended the contract of Innovative Images for management of the Mounds
View Banquet and Conference Center; and
WHEREAS, on March 27, 2001 Elegant Thymes Management
Company was asked by the City of Mounds View to manage the Mounds View
Banquet and Conference Center on a temporary basis; and
WHEREAS, Elegant Thymes Management Company has been
managing the Mounds View Banquet and Conference Center since March 27,
2001; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to compensate Elegant
Thymes Management Company for services rendered between March 27, 2001
and July 31,2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Mounds
View will compensate Elegant Thymes Management Company per the "Banquet
Center Management Agreement" (attached); and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Elegant
Thymes has achieved 70% of $30,000 in gross revenues which generates a
minimum of $6,000 in compensation; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City
wishes to prorate the minimum amount of compensation owed to Elegant
Thymes under the contract to $4200.00 (70% of $6,000.00); and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the
Mounds View City Council wishes to pay Elegant Thymes half of the amount due
per the contract ($2100.00) until such time as a final decision has been made
regarding management of the banquet center.
