RESOLUTION NO. 5625
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING CHARLES HANSEN AS THE
FINANCE DIRECTOR/TREASURER
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Finance Director/Treasurer
position has been vacant since June 7, 2001; and
WHEREAS, the City has received and reviewed 18 applications for
the position and interviewed four candidates; and
WHEREAS, Charles Hansen's skills and experience most closely
match the city's needs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City
Council appoints Charles Hansen as the City of Mounds View Finance
Director/Treasurer, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes a
starting salary of $63,270.18 (step 3) annually with an increase to $66,785.66
(step 4) in 6 months pending a satisfactory performance evaluation and an
increase to $70,300.20 (step 5) one year from the start date pending a
satisfactory performance evaluation, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that vacation accruals will begin at
three weeks annually for Mr. Hansen
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this offer of employment is
contingent upon satisfactory reference, criminal and financial background
checks. Mr. Hansen will begin employment with the City on (or as soon as
possible after) October 1,2001, and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that all other personnel policies will
apply normally.
