RESOLUTION NO. 8416 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS COMPLETED BY STANTEC <br /> CONSULTING SERVICES FOR THE MUSTANG DRIVE AND <br /> MUSTANG CIRCLE PAVEMENT REHABILITATION AND DRAINAGE <br /> IMPROVEMENTS AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is considering to rehabilitate Mustang Drive <br /> and Mustang Circle; and, <br /> WHEREAS, this project will include pavement rehabilitation and drainage <br /> improvements; and, <br /> WHEREAS, this project is proposed to be assessed in accordance with Chapter 202 <br /> of the Municipal Code; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has ordered a feasibility study to include cost estimates <br /> in unit prices and total project cost; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the estimated total cost of the improvement derived from the feasibility <br /> study is $610,000.00; and, <br /> WHEREAS, February 23, 2015 City Council held a Public Hearing for Mustang <br /> Drive/Mustang Circle Pavement Rehabilitation and Drainage Improvements; and, <br /> WHEREAS, a period of sixty days was required to elapse after the Public Hearing <br /> before any further action could be taken by the City Council regarding the project; and, <br /> WHEREAS, April 27, 2015, the City Council authorized Stantec to complete the <br /> plans and specifications for Mustang Drive/Mustang Circle, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View approves the plans and specifications completed by Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. <br /> and authorizes Stantec to bid out the project for Mustang Drive/ Mustang Circle pavement <br /> rehabilitation and drainage improvements. <br /> Adopted this 11th day of May, 2015 <br /> 46e Flaherty, ayori <br /> ATTEST: <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
