CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS COMPLETED BY STANTEC
CONSULTING SERVICES FOR THE MUSTANG DRIVE AND
MUSTANG CIRCLE PAVEMENT REHABILITATION AND DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENTS AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is considering to rehabilitate Mustang Drive
and Mustang Circle; and,
WHEREAS, this project will include pavement rehabilitation and drainage
improvements; and,
WHEREAS, this project is proposed to be assessed in accordance with Chapter 202
of the Municipal Code; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has ordered a feasibility study to include cost estimates
in unit prices and total project cost; and,
WHEREAS, the estimated total cost of the improvement derived from the feasibility
study is $610,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, February 23, 2015 City Council held a Public Hearing for Mustang
Drive/Mustang Circle Pavement Rehabilitation and Drainage Improvements; and,
WHEREAS, a period of sixty days was required to elapse after the Public Hearing
before any further action could be taken by the City Council regarding the project; and,
WHEREAS, April 27, 2015, the City Council authorized Stantec to complete the
plans and specifications for Mustang Drive/Mustang Circle,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds
View approves the plans and specifications completed by Stantec Consulting Services, Inc.
and authorizes Stantec to bid out the project for Mustang Drive/ Mustang Circle pavement
rehabilitation and drainage improvements.
