RESOLUTION 8423 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPROVING THE CONTRACT WITH UPPER CUT TREE SERVICE AND 4 <br /> SEASONS TREE CARE FOR TREE REMOVAL OF ACCESSIBLE AND NON- <br /> ACCESSIBLE TREES <br /> WHEREAS, proposals are received to perform tree removal and tree trimming <br /> services to be done as part of the Diseased Tree Ordinance; and <br /> WHEREAS, these services are budgeted in 100-4380-3520; and <br /> WHEREAS, there were three companies that submitted tree removal quotes for <br /> trees that are accessible and trees that are not accessible; and <br /> WHEREAS, the low quote was submitted by Upper Cut Tree Service for trees <br /> smaller and larger than 35 inches in diameter for non-accessible trees; and <br /> WHEREAS, the low quote was submitted by 4 Seasons Tree Care for trees <br /> smaller and larger than 35 inches in diameter for accessible trees; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. That a contract for non-accessible trees is hereby awarded to Upper Cut <br /> Tree Service for trees smaller and larger than 35 inches in diameter. <br /> 2. That a contract for accessible trees is hereby awarded to 4 Seasons Tree <br /> Care for trees smaller and larger than 35 inches in diameter. <br /> 3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to <br /> enter into a contract with Upper Cut Tree Service and 4 Seasons Tree <br /> Service to perform tree removal and tree trimming for the City of Mounds <br /> View. Said contracts shall expire on December 31, 2018. <br /> 4.
