STATE OF MINNESOTA
RECOGNITION OF ALEX KASPROWICZ ON
ATTAINING THE RANK OF EAGLE SCOUT
WHEREAS, Alex Kasporwicz is a member of Boy Scout Troop 84 of Maple
Grove MN; and,
WHEREAS, Alex has performed many hours of service in support of the Boy
Scouts and the local community; and,
WHEREAS, Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank attainable in the Boy
Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America; and,
WHEREAS, requirements to attain the rank of Eagle Scout include earning at
least 21 merit badges and demonstrating Scout Spirit through the Boy Scout Oath and
Law, organizing a service project, and providing leadership; and,
WHEREAS, Alex's Eagle Scout project was completed last fall--he performed
storm water bank restoration and trail improvements at Silver View Park in Mounds
View MN; and,
WHEREAS, Alex was presented with his Eagle Scout Award at a ceremony on
May 9, 2015, at Elm Creek Park Reserve.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council
does hereby extend congratulations and deserved recognition to Alex Kasprowicz on
his noteworthy and tremendous achievement of attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
