<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CORRECTED RESOLUTION NO. 5711 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT TO ELEGANT THYMES MANAGEMENT <br />COMPANY FOR MANAGEMENT OF THE <br />MOUNDS VIEW BANQUET AND CONFERENCE CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on March 27, 2001 the City of Mounds View suspended the <br />contract of Innovative Images for management of the Mounds View Banquet and <br />Conference Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on March 27, 2001 Elegant Thymes Management Company <br />was asked by the City of Mounds View to manage the Mounds View Banquet and <br />Conference Center on a temporary basis; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Elegant Thymes Management Company has been managing <br />the Mounds View Banquet and Conference Center since March 27, 2001; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, management fees for the full year would be $12,250.89 <br />under the terms of the Banquet Center Management Agreement, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Elegant Thymes Management Company managed the <br />Mounds View Banquet and Conference Center during the period in which 78.88% of the <br />net revenues were earned and so would be due 78.88% or $9,663.06 of the <br />management fees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to compensate Elegant Thymes <br />Management Company for services rendered between March 27, 2001 and December <br />31,2001; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to compensate Elegant Thymes <br />Management Company for services rendered in the future on a monthly basis. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Mounds View <br />will compensate Elegant Thymes Management Company per the "Banquet Center <br />Management Agreement"; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that based on $50,836.31 in net revenues, <br />the Mounds View City Council wishes to pay Elegant Thymes $2,385.52 ($9,663.06 less <br />previous payments) per the Banquet Center Management Agreement for the period of <br />March 27, 2001-December31, 2001; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that staff is directed to make future <br />payments to Elegant Thymes per the Banquet Center Management Agreement on a <br />monthly basis and report them to the City Council on the Just and Correct Claims List. <br />
