RESOLUTION NO. 8428 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO DON PETERSON <br /> FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW AS <br /> INTERIM PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR <br /> WHEREAS, after the resignation of former Public Works Director Nick DeBar, the <br /> City Council appointed Public Works Supervisor Don Peterson to be the Interim Public <br /> Works Director, effective December 20, 2014; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Don Peterson has served capably and commendably during his <br /> term as interim director, ensuring that a multitude of projects progressed according to <br /> plan and schedule; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Peterson led the department over the course of six months <br /> without interruption of service delivery, coordinating the activities of operation and <br /> maintenance employees, administrative staff and engineering functions; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Peterson demonstrated significant initiative by coordinating the <br /> recently approved Energy Savings Partnership (ESP) program; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Peterson has earned significant gratitude and appreciation for <br /> serving in the capacity of interim public works director and for effectively representing <br /> the City of Mounds View in all respects. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br /> does hereby extend its most sincere appreciation and recognition to Public Works <br /> Supervisor Don Peterson for his commendable service to the department, to the City <br /> Council and to the Mounds View Community. <br /> Adopted this 8th day of June, 2015.2a� <br /> oe Flaherty yor <br /> ATTEST: A Ai t.t2 A <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
