CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE INSTALLATION OF PANIC HARDWARE AND DOOR RELEASE
BUTTONS IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN CITY HALL
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed options for installing additional security system
hardware in City Hall, and;
WHEREAS, Pro-Tec Design of Minneapolis, MN has provided a quote for installing
panic hardware in the Council Chambers, Community Development and Engineering, and
door release hardware in Community Development and Engineering areas of City Hall;
WHEREAS, funding is available for these installations in the budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by City Council of the City of Mounds View,
Ramsey County, Minnesota that:
1. Pro-Tec Design of Minneapolis, MN is authorized to install panic hardware and door
release buttons in the Mounds View City Hall at a cost of $5,809.23.
2. Funding for the installation work shall be from account 100-4460-5110 in the amount
of $2,904.61, 700-4823-5110 in the amount of $1,452.31, and 730-4823-5130 in the
amount of $1,452.31.
