CITY OF l\lOUNDS VIE\'V
COUNTY OF RA)'ISEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPOINTING BRUCE MADSEN TO FILL A VACATED SEAT
ON THE I\'IOliNDS VIE\V PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
WHEREAS. the Mounds View Planning Commission acts as an advisory body to the
City Council on matters that relate to residential. commercial. industrial dcvelopment and
redevelopment, zoning and comprchensive planning; and,
WHEREAS. the Planning Commission is composcd of nine Mounds View residents; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on thc Planning Commission; and,
WIIEREAS, Chapter 401 of the Mounds Vicw Municipal Code authorizes new members
to be appointed by the mayor with the approval of the City Council; and,
\VHEREAS, Bruce Madsen, 5463 Adams Street, has applied to fill the vacant seat on thc
Planning COlllmission, citing an intercst in local government operations and a dcsire to becomc
Illorc involved within the community.
J\OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Bruce Madscn, 5463 Adams Street, is
hereby appointed to serve a term to expire Decembcr 31,2004.
Adopted this 10th day of June, 2002.
