RESOLUTION NO. 5799
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION CONTINUING THE CONTRACT FOR A TEMPORARY
EMPLOYEE TO FILL THE CABLE TV TECHNICIAN POSITION
WHEREAS, the Cable TV Technician for the City of Mounds View has
resigned effective April 25, 2002; and
WHEREAS. filling the position is taking longer than originally anticipated;
and
WHEREAS, staff has requested authorization to continue a contract to fill
the position on a temporary basis.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City
Council authorizes staff to continue a contract for a temporary employee through an
employment agency for a period ending no later than September 20, 2002; or earlier if a
regular city employee is hired; and not to exceed eight hours per week without Council
approval for an extension and at a wage not to exceed $35.00 per hour for the same
period.
Adopted this 8th day of July, 2002.
