RESOLUTION NO. 5832
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPOINTING KEN GAMMELL AS CABLE TECHNICIAN
WHEREAS, staff was given direction to fill the part-time Cable Technician
vacancy in the Administration Department (not to exceed 20 hours weekly); and
WHEREAS, said vacancy was published in the newspaper and the City received
10 applications; and
WHEREAS, the City Administrator, Jerry Skelly, a representative of CTV and the
Assistant City Administrator interviewed the candidates and selected Ken Gammell as
the top candidate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
accepts the recommendation that Ken Gammell be appointed to the Cable Technician
position; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that Mr. Gammell will begin
employment with the City on August 27,2002 at step 3 ($13.31/hr) with a step increase
one year from the start date pending satisfactory performance. All other step increases
will occur annually pending satisfactory performance.
