RESOLUTION 8451 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN/DUCK KEEPING LICENSE TO <br /> JOHN ELOFSON, 5260 LONG LAKE ROAD <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council passed Ordinance 903, which amended Chapter <br /> 701 of the Municipal Code to provide limited and controlled raising and keeping of <br /> chickens and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single Family Residential; and, <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Ordinance 903, initial applications shall be <br /> considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing on the matter; and <br /> WHEREAS, John Elofson submitted a license application and fees to keep and <br /> raise chickens on his property located at 5260 Long Lake Road; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Staff has reviewed Mr. Elofson's application; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Elofson's application meets all the requirements as set forth in <br /> Ordinance 903; and <br /> WHEREAS, this license will expire on December 31, 2015. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City Council <br /> does hereby approve a Chicken/Duck Keeping License to John Elofson, 5260 Long <br /> Lake Road. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this license is effective <br /> from August 25, 2015, to December 31, 2015. <br /> Adopted this 24th day of August, 2015. <br /> 26c-oiela e r <br /> ATTEST: <br /> CwvLA-21 ( l f <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
