RESOLUTION NO. 5857
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT REVIEW REQUEST FOR AN
ADDITION TO AN EXISTING BUILDING FOR SYSCO MINNESOTA LOCATED AT
2400 COUNTY ROAD J; PLANNING CASE NO. DE02-007.
WHEREAS, the applicant, Phillip Seipp of Sysco, has applied for a development
review to construct additions totaling 36,300 square feet to the building located at 2400
County Road J; and,
WHEREAS, the subject property is zoned PUD, Planned Unit Development, and is
legally described as follows:
Sysco
Lot 1, Block 2
Ramsey County, Minnesota
WHEREAS, according to Section 1006.06 of the Mounds View Municipal Code,
any new construction or expansion of existing facilities requires the approval of a
development review; and,
WHEREAS, according to Section 1119.02 of the Mounds View Zoning Code,
distribution facilities are allowed within PUD zoning districts; and,
WHEREAS, A public hearing was held on October 14, 2002 regarding this
request; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the following documents regarding
this proposal:
a. Planning Application
b. Zoning Map
c. Site Plan
d. Floor Plan
e. Elevation Drawings
f. Staff Report
g. Planning Commission Resolution 712-02
WHEREAS, the proposed development satisfies the dimensional requirements
of the Zoning Code; and,

WHEREAS, the site plans indicate that the proposed addition would be 36,300
square feet, bringing the total building square footage to 276,900,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does
hereby approve the development review request for the construction of a 36,300 square
foot addition to the building located at 2400 County Road J, subject to the following
stipulations:
1, The drainage for the site shall be approved by Rice Creek Watershed District.
