RESOLUTION NO. 5860
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH
RAMSEY COUNTY FOR IMPROVEMENT OF THE RICE CREEK NORTH REGIONAL
TRAIL CORRIDOR ON COUNTY ROAD H FROM OLD HIGHWAY 8 TO EDGEWOOD
DRIVE
WHEREAS, On September 23, 2002, the City Council approved Resolution 5841
approving Change Order NO.1 for the County Road H2 Street Project that authorized
construction of a pathway on County Road H from Old Highway 8 to Edgewood Drive;
and
WHEREAS, a Joint Powers Agreement was drafted by Ramsey County; and
WHEREAS, said Joint Powers Agreement has been approved by Ramsey
County on October 8,2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. The Joint Powers Agreement with Ramsey County for improvement of the
Rice Creek North Regional Trail Corridor on County Road H from Old
Highway 8 to Edgewood Drive is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to execute said Joint
Powers Agreement.
Adopted this 14th day of October 2002.
