RESOLUTION NO. 5921
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
~SOLUTION OF }lpPRECIATION TO CJqCH SONTERRE
WHEREAS, Rich Sonterre has completed his two-year term as the
Mayor of Mounds View, having been elected to serve as Mayor from
January 2001 through December of 2002; and,
WHEREAS, prior to his election to the Mounds View City Council,
Mr. Sonterre served two-years on the City's Parks and Recreation
Commission; and,
WHEREAS, during his term as Mayor, Mr. Sonterre devoted
considerable time working on the City's behalf with organizations such
as the League of Minnesota Cities, National League of Cities and the
North Metro I-35W Corridor Coalition; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Sonterre also spent considerable time working
with Ramsey County, the Minnesota Department of Transportation and
the Minnesota Legislature all on the City's behalf.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Mounds View, on behalf of the residents of the City of Mounds
View, expresses its appreciation to Rich Santerre for his contributions
to the City of Mounds View.
Adopted this 6th day of January, 2003.
