CRt:SOLUTION OF jlpPRECIATION TO rrIM (]3RENNAN
WHEREAS, Deputy Chief Tim Brennan was appointed the Interim Chief
of Police effective August 21, 2001, to serve until the City Council filled the
police chief vacancy; and,
WHEREAS, Deputy Chief Brennan served as Mounds View's Interim
Chief of Police for 18 months; and
WHEREAS, during that period, Deputy Chief Brennan served the City to
the best of his judgment and ability and was able to accomplish many
tasks and projects at the direction of the City Council and on his own
initiative, including the revision of ordinances and departmental polices;
and,
.
WHEREAS, during that period of time, Deputy Chief Brennan was
instrumental in the application and receipt of grants and reimbursements
for police equipment and training all to the benefit of the department and
the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council,
on behalf of the residents of Mounds View, expresses its appreciation to
Deputy Chief Tim Brennan for his dedicated service to the City.
Adopted this 27th day of January, 2003.
