CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION FORMALLY APPROVING BOARD AND COMMISSION MEMBERS
APPOINTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL TO FILL VACANCIES ON THE PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION, CABLE COMMISSION AND THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning and Zoning Commission and the Mounds View
Parks and Recreation Commission consist of members appointed by the Mayor with the
approval of the majority of the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor, with the approval of the City Council, shall appoint a Chairperson
to the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Parks and Recreation Commission; and,
WHEREAS, the North Suburban Communications Commission (a/k/a Cable Commission)
is a Commission of individuals representing the communities of Arden Hills, Falcon Heights,
Lauderdale, Little Canada, Mounds View, New Brighton, North Oaks, Roseville, St. Anthony and
Shoreview; with each community appointing a single representative to serve on the Commission;
and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor with the approval of the majority of the City Council, appoints one
City representative to the Cable Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Council do hereby
approve the following Mounds View residents to serve on the following commissions:

Jean Miller Planning and Zoning December 31, 2005
Gary Stevenson Planning and Zoning December 31, 2005
David Long Parks and Recreation December 31,2005
Frank Silvas Parks and Recreation December 31,2005
Barbara Haake Cable Commission
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Council appoints Gary Stevenson to Chair the Planning and Zoning Commission and appoints
Mike Szczepanski to Chair the Parks and Recreation Commission.
