RESOLUTION NO. 5313
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZIN(; THE SEVERANCE PACKAGE OF TIM RAMACHER
WHEREAS, Tim Ramacher has completcd 28 years of dedicated service to the City of
Mounds View; and
WHEREAS, he has elected to retire effective March 3 I, 1999; and
WHEREAS, he is entitled to severance benefits upon retirement:
· 100 % of accumulated vacation time accumulated (Personnel Code Section 4.35
- Separation Compensation);
· 1393.575 hours of accumulated and banked sick leave ( $45, 514.16) Jor use
towards the retiree's group insurance prcmium for as long as the funds are
available up to the retiree's 65th birthday. These funds may be used only for the
City's monthly premium payment of the Retiree's health insurancc and at no time
may be taken for cash or for any othcr purpose. (1405.5 hours accrued as a linc
Officer x 65% x $32.66) + (960 hours accumulated as Chief x 50% x $32.66)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council hereby approves the
aforementioned provisions for Tim Ramacher's severance package and expresses their sincere
appreciation for his 28 years of dedicated service to the City of Mounds View.
