CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW

APPROVING PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY SPACE NEEDS STUDY CONSULTANT
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View City Council approved a request for
proposals to retain a consultant for a space needs study, and;
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director contacted six consultants regarding this
request for proposals, and;
WHEREAS, four consultants responded to the request for proposals, and;
WHEREAS, staff has evaluated the proposals and is recommending that Oertel
Architects be selected as the consultant for this study, and;
WHEREAS, there is sufficient funding in the Special Project fund for this work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by City Council of the City of Mounds
View, Ramsey County, Minnesota that the City of Mounds View that:
1. Oertel Architects is authorized to perform engineering and planning services and
prepare a space needs study for the Public Works Facility. Compensation will be
on an hourly basis with an estimated maximum fee of $4,905.00, which includes
reimbursables.
2. The Director of Public Works is authorized and directed to enter into said
professional services agreement with Oertel Architects on behalf of the City
Council.
3. The Special Project Fund budget is amended to include this project in the
amount of $4,905.00 to 480-4180-3030.
