CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MI~NESOTA
RESOLUTION OF COhMENDATION TO DON HODGES
WHEREAS, Don Hodges is retiring after 25 years of employ-
ment with the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, during those 25 years Don Hodges served his
community in a variety of volunteer activities including,
21 years of service as Mayor and Councilmernber on
the Mounds View City Council beginning with his
appointment in 1959
Chairman, member, and volunteer on the original
t10unds VieH Parks and Playground Committee.
Member of the Mounds View Charter Commission.
Member and officer of the Hounds View Lions Club
..
Active adult leader and volunteer with the Boy
Scouts; and
WHEREAS, Don Hodges exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism
and commitment to one's community which has helped to make the
State of Minnesota and the City of Mounds View such a great place
to live.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City
Council on behalf of the residents of the City of Mounds View
hereby commends and expresses its heartfelt appreciation to
Don Hodges for his dedicated and self-sacrificing service to his
community.
