RESOLUTION'<NO. 4602
RESOLUTION FOR OUTSTANDING PERFO.Rl\IIA.NCE
WHEREAS. it is the City's practice to encourage and reward outstanding
performance by City staff: and
WHEREAS. Timothy Pittman has taken the concept of outstanding performance to
new heights by designing an installation system for the lYlobile Data Terminals in the City's
Police patrol cars: and
WHEREAS. this accomplishment has saved the City money, but most importantly,
his creative thinking and innovative work ethic has also saved one of the most important
and valuable things for the Police Department - time; and
\VHEREAS, Mr. Pittman's accomplishments were recognized by the all of the police
officers _.2f the Mounds View Police Department. who wrote:
"We the following officers of the Mounds View Police Department would like to thank
Timothy Pittman for the construction. modification and fabrication to produce the style of
squall car we now have. The numbers of hours we each spend in the vehicles make it
necessary to have the equipmenr convenient and functional. Timothy Pittman always does
an exceptional job. This time he combined several different ideas to produce the best
vehicle we have had available to us,"
NOW. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council in and for the
City of Mounds View does hereby approve and award this RESOLUTION OF
OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE to:
TIMOTHY PITIlYIAN
for his ingenuity. creativity and commitment to the safety of the officers of the Mounds
View PoliCl~ Departmenr ami everyone who lives and works in the City.

BE IT FU RTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Council does hereby recognize the ljuality
\.)f Mr. Pittman's work in all that he Joes for the City. He is a valued employee and a
valuable asset to the City of ~loulllls View. THANK YOU for making Mounds View a
better place!
