SER~CE TOTH2 MOUNDSVlEW/BLAI~ElSP:f!lNG LAKE PARK FIRE DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the Mounds ViewlBlaine/Spring Lake Park Fire Department has announced .
the retirement of Fire Captain Eric A. Rosengren; and
WHEREAS,....Mr. Rosengren retired:aftercompleting 20 years of service with ~e
department, having joined the station' 4 on 7/13/74; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Rosengren was appointed to Fire Operator in July of 1977 and was
promoted to Captain in May of 1984, where he served as Senior Captain from 1985 .
until his retirement; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Rosengren attended many training classes in various areas of
firefighting including Radiolo.gical Monitoring, Incident Command, Emergency Medical
Technician and First Aid/CPR.

WHEREAS, during: his years of service, Mr. Rosengren received Awards of Merit for
drill attendance, serving on the 40th Anniversary Committee and also ~erving as
Chairman of the Community "Needs Committee and as a member of the Grievance
Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Mounds View City Council commends
Captain Eric Rosengren for his many years of dedicated and loyal service to the Fire
Department and the Community.
