CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF MOUNDS VIEW
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING 1HE CITY CONTRIBUTION
OF $2,000 FOR 1HE 1994 FESTIVAL IN 1HE PARK. CELEBRATION.
WHEREAS, the Festival Committee is comprised of City residents and
business persons including Alice Frits, Mark Malone, Jan Quick, Sharie Linke, Diane
Overgard, Sherri Timmons, Joyce Radtke, lone Carlson, Glenn Crooks, Don Hodges,
J an Lindberg, Peggy Gobel, Bruce Cameron, Mark Valento, Pat Michna and Amelia
Gislason, and;
WHEREAS, Festival Committee members are meeting regularly to
organize and plan a great celebration for the Community, and;
WHEREAS, contributions from groups and organizations and business are
being requested to fund the various activities being planned for this enjoyable
community event, and;
. WHEREAS, the Committee has requested a contribution from the City of
Mounds View which would provide the funding for entertainment, portable restrooms,
and entertainment rental.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED, that the City Council of the
City of Mounds View approves the contribution of $2,000 from the City of Mounds
View for the 1994 Festival in the Park celebration, funding to be transferred from
Contingency Fund to the Recreation Activity Fund 250-4353-210.
Adopted this 14th day of February, 1994.
